1. Introduction
AI Image Describer ("we", "us", or "our") provides tools to generate alt text, captions, and descriptions for uploaded media. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have regarding your personal data.
2. Data We Collect
- Account data: Email address, name (if provided), and authentication metadata managed through Supabase and Google OAuth.
- Billing data: Checkout events processed by Creem. Payment method details are stored and secured by Creem, not our servers.
- Usage data: Uploaded file metadata, generated outputs, and anonymized analytics used to monitor abuse and improve product quality.
- Support data: Messages sent to support@aiimagedescriber.pro.
3. How We Use Information
- Authenticate users, deliver the dashboard, and enforce free plan limits.
- Process payments, manage subscriptions, and deliver invoices via Creem.
- Generate AI outputs through OpenRouter/OpenAI and maintain service quality.
- Respond to support requests and communicate product updates.
4. Storage & Security
Uploads are stored temporarily in Supabase Storage and removed after processing. Access to internal systems is restricted to the founding team and protected by 2FA. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest across Supabase, Creem, and OpenRouter.
5. Data Retention
We keep account and billing data for as long as your subscription remains active or as required by law. Usage logs older than 12 months are aggregated and anonymized. You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing support@aiimagedescriber.pro.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete any personal data we hold. Contact us via email to exercise these rights. We respond to all verified requests within 30 days.
7. Updates
We may update this policy to reflect new features or regulatory requirements. Significant changes will be announced via email or in-app notices. Continued use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
